On the 13th March, 2023, Mr. Daniel Smith, Bluebell, Dublin 12 was found guilty at Dublin District Court of one breach of the Private Security Services Act. This followed an investigation by the PSA into the provision of unlicensed security guarding services in counties Dublin, Meath and Wicklow. Mr. Smith had been found providing security guard (static) services without holding the required PSA licence.

Judge Anthony Halpin fined the defendant €500 with costs of €4,562.15 also awarded against Mr. Smith.
