Minister McEntee announces new Private Security Authority Board
Minister for Justice, Helen McEntee T.D., has appointed a Chairperson and ten ordinary members to the Board of the Private Security Authority (PSA). The new Board members are formed in accordance with the Private Securities Services Act, 2004 and include four members who have been appointed following completion of a Public Appointment Service recruitment competition.

PSA Licensing Requirements for Enforcement Guard Contractors
The Private Security Authority (PSA) has published a Public Consultation document “PSA Licensing Requirements - Enforcement Guard Sector”. The document contains provisions which the PSA are considering applying to contractors requiring a licence to provide security services in the enforcement guard sector.
