Training Forms to Accompany First Time Applications
Applicants applying for a PSA licence for the first time must submit proof of successful completion of training.
Security Guard and Door Supervisor
First time applicants have 36 months in which to submit their application following successful completion of approved training. Training that has been undertaken outside the 36 month period will not be accepted for licensing purposes. Applications for a licence must be accompanied by a candidates QQI certificate. However, for a 6 month period after training, a Temporary Results Form (TRF) from your training provider will be acceptable.
Provider of Protected Forms of Transport (Cash-in-Transit)
Declaration forms in respect of training successfully completed are available from your Cash-in-Transit employer. These should be completed by the Training Officer of the company, signed by the licence applicant and training officer and submitted to the Individual Licensing Division of the Private Security Authority in support of the licence application.
